May Update

Neon Saber's May Update is finally complete! We've rebalanced, retooled, and completely overhauled many systems. Neon Saber has new life in this stable build that will persist until our October update. Thank you so much for playing our earlier build and I hope you're excited for this brand new addition to the system. Here's a changelog!

• Chrome and Cyberware has been rebalanced. Chrome provides two Cyberware slots per point and all characters begin with two slots, resulting in a maximum Cyberware Slot count of 10.  

• Re-Organized Agents section, expanded explanations on the steps of Agent Creation. 

• Character Creation now offers all playbooks a choice between Vehicles and Cyberware at character creation. 

• Each Playbook now has access to its own set of Specialist Vehicle Gear.

• Vehicle Gear moved from Agent to Vehicle section, new Specialist Vehicle Gear added for Ghostrunner, Tech, Wastelander, Netrunner and Soldier

• Various text fixes, most notably errata of “Trauma to Scars”. Prose tightened in a few places.  Additional flavor text has been added throughout, most notably in the Vehicles and Fixer sections. 

• Netrun Action changed its name to Hack

• Beam Saber’s “Heart” System fully ported

• Crew Tier Up and Level Up systems more clearly explained

• Specialization now provides utility a fixed number of times in a mission rather than static load improvements.

• Quirks have been renamed “Traits”. Traits function mostly the same, slightly different rules for Resistance Rolls. Breakdowns have been retooled dramatically, becoming entirely voluntary. Details in Chapter 4!

• Multiple new pieces of art added to “Vehicles” and “Crew” Sections. Logan Stahl, Jasper Malo, Jacob Williamson, and Mackenzie “ButterlyRiver” Washburn. 

• Long Term Project Rules Added. Recover and Fix actions buffed.

And Last but not least, Erika Brock completed our form-fillable Character Sheets!
